School Council helps children to develop an understanding of their ability to create a positive change within school.

It allows communication across school and within each class.It promotes responsibility.Encourages decision making and working together

The selected school council represent the views of their class at the meetings and then report back to the class.

What have the school council done for us?

We have changed some the menu choices at lunchtimes.We have introduced toast and bagels at tuck time.We have talked about bullying and what we understand about itWe have discussed ways to make our school environment better.We have talked about issues that concern us and ways to resolve them.We have been involved in fundraising ideas to help others.We managed funds and make decisions on what to spend it on.
